Police have arrested a man suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol after his vehicle was involved in an accident that injured six individuals, including children, on the Kajang-Semenyih Bypass Road, early this morning.

A social media user on X identified as @iamjoelee shared updates highlighting the plight of a neighbour whose vehicle was severely damaged in the collision.

A man who shot his younger brother dead and threatened to shoot anyone approaching their house compound in Kampung Kangkawang, Tenom, on Sunday, was shot dead by the police.

The case was being investigated under Sections 186 and 427 of the Penal Code for obstructing a public servant in the discharge of duties and committing mischief.

The victims were husband and wife identified as Azwin Yusman, 30, and Nadziran Mohd Nor, 28, and their children Hazreen Zharfan Azwin, four and one-year-old Hazeef Zharfan Azwin from Desa Senadin, Miri.
