Prices of food and vegetables surged further during the Raya festival

Ikhlas Capital chairman and co-founder Tan Sri Mohamed Nazir Abdul Razak said the issue on price hikes was inevitable and happened in many countries, including the United Kingdom.

With the holy month of Ramadan just around the corner, price hikes at the bazaar are inevitable given the expensive costs of raw materials according to Malaysian Federation of Hawkers and Petty Traders Association president Rosli Sulaiman.
