Ex-deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi has been told to enter defence over 47 charges over CBT, bribery and corruption.

Former deputy prime minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi will answer his 47 charges involving criminal breach of trust (CBT), corruption and money laundering charges in relation to Yayasan Akalbudi (YAB) funds, tomorrow (April 13).

On Jan 24 this year, courts ordered Zahid Hamidi to defend himself on 47 charges of breach of trust (CBT), corruption and money laundering involving Akalbudi Foundation funds after finding that the prosecution had succeeded in proving a prima facie case.
