JAINJ detained a widow and two men in their 30s after they were suspected of khalwat during a raid at noon at a double-storey terrace house in Bandar Dato’ Onn on Tuesday.

A couple in their 20s were detained by enforcement officers from the Johor Islamic Religious Department (JAINJ) for alleged khalwat (close proximity) in a hotel room here.

Preliminary police investigations found that the suspects fled a police inspection because they were carrying drugs and housebreaking tools.
