Consumers of healthy food must have heard of the name Agrain as the restaurant has been in the food and beverage industry since its establishment in June 2018. They started with a simple mission to make eating well simple and affordable.

Agrain's co-founder and CEO, Kee Wei Chuah shared that high-quality meals should not taste bland or expensive, but instead convenient, nutritious and most importantly, enjoyable for everyone.

He said that the health food store has made their vision possible without spending excessively on the renovation and outlet design, instead keeping things simple and comfortable in order to offer customers affordable prices for their nutritious and wholesome meals.

"Many people in Malaysia have this perspective that healthy food is expensive and not delicious.

"However, we keep it simple where our food is baked and there’s no added preservatives or unusual ingredients just to make the food healthy,” he said.

People who are hesitant to try healthy food before should take a leap of faith through Agrain as there are more than 500 ingredients prepared from their central kitchen to suit their taste buds.

To make healthy food even more convenient, Agrain also has its Pick and Collect function where you can order online and collect at the nearest outlet or order via a curbside pickup.

Today, Agrain has grown from only 10 employees to 30 serving customers throughout six outlets throughout Klang Valley. Kee Wei aims for a total of 20 outlets to be opened by the end of 2023.
