JOHOR BAHRU - PKR Youth Chief Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir is no stranger to the power of the youth and effective it could be to propel a political movement forward.

Now with the implementation of Undi 18 and automatic voter registration, millions of Malaysian youth will be able to participate in the nation's most crucial democratic process.

While political parties across the board are concerned about where these youth votes are going, some pundits opined that young voters are unlikely to even come out and vote.

But for Akmal, who is also the Johor Bahru MP, believed that these young voters will be a kingmaker in future elections and any party dismissing this notion will be at a disadvantage.
