Onn Hafiz was appointed as the new Menteri Besar, even though BN had earlier proposed Hasni who was the former Menteri Besar as the candidate to fill the post if BN wins the Johor state election.

Yesterday, Hasni proposed that the party leadership select a younger person to lead Johor after the importance and position of the younger group in the state’s development.
