Thunderstorms in several states in the Peninsular - MetMalaysia

SHAH ALAM - The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a bad weather alert today as thunderstorms, heavy rains and strong winds are expected to hit several states.

The bad weather, it said was expected in Kedah (Kota Setar, Pokok Sena, Yan, Pendang, Kuala Muda, Kulim and Bandar Baharu), Penang, Perak (Kerian, Larut, Matang and Selama, Manjung, Perak Tengah, Bagan Datuk, Hilir Perak, Batang Padang and Muallim), and Pahang (Bentong, Temerloh, Maran, Kuantan and Pekan) until 9pm.

It also stated that several areas in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan (Jelebu, Seremban, Port Dickson, Kuala Pilah and Rembau), were also expected to experience the same weather condition until 9pm.
