DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang test positive for Covid-19

SHAH ALAM - DAP veteran lawmaker Lim Kit Siang has tested positive for Covid-19, according to FMT.

Lim's political secretary, Syahredzan Johan had confirmed that the Iskandar Puteri MP was down with Covid-19 after conducting an RTK test earlier today.

"I can confirm that Lim has tested positive for Covid-19. Earlier today in Parliament, he did an RTK test.

"Since it showed a positive result, a PCR test was conducted. Later, it was confirmed that he is Covid-19 positive,” said Syahredzan in a statement today.

According to Syahredzan, Lim is currently under quarantine and only showing light symptoms and have also taken his booster shot.

Yesterday, Lim announced his retirement from politics after 56 years during DAP's national congress held at the Ideal Convention Centre.
