Raya dishes: How to make Begedil

One of the main condiments of the soto dish, the begedil is also addictive to eat on its own. Here’s how you can make it!

Ingredients:

4 potatoes

4 shallots

4 coriander leaf

200g minced beef

1 egg

1 tsp salt


Ingredients:

1.Preheat the pan, add oil and potatoes fry for 6-8 minutes until light gold and crispy. Set aside.

2.Add shallot into the same pan and cook until light gold and crispy. Then take out the shallots from the pan.

3.In a bowl, add the potatoes and smash it using a masher. Add the fried shallots, salt and minced beef.

4.Using gloves, take out the mixture make a small round shape and set a side. Preheat the pan with medium heat, add oil.

5.In a separate bowl, beat the egg.

6.Coat the Begedil in the beaten egg, then fry til lightly browned and crispy.
