Johor Sultan receives courtesy visit from Amy Search

JOHOR BAHRU - Sultan of Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar received a courtesy visit from popular rock singer Amy Search.

In a Facebook post today, Sultan Ibrahim said the evergreen Search rock band's vocalist Amy or his real name Suhaimi Abdul Rahman was present together with the band members comprising guitarists Hilary Ang and Man Kidal as well as bassist Nasir Daud, whom were all born in Johor.

During the visit, Amy presented a souvenir to Sultan Ibrahim which was a phonograph record of his album "Gothik Malam Edan" along with other souvenirs from the band.

On June 5, the band performed in a concert called "Konsert Endemik Search" which took place at the Zepp Kuala Lumpur hall for two nights.

In the concert which lasted for over two hours, the band performed to a full house with a total of 45 songs.

It is estimated that on the first night of the concert, there were as many as 1,600 audiences who showed up.
