2,217 Covid-19 cases, one death recorded in the last 24 hours

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia records 2,217 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, with one death reported, according to data published by health ministry.

This brings the total death toll to 35,732 since the pandemic began.

Currently, there are 26,362 active cases with 25,350 (96.2 percent) undergoing home quarantine.

The health ministry also recorded 1,390 recoveries yesterday.

To date, Malaysia has recorded 4,538,922 Covid-19 cases since the pandemic began.
