Relatable talk show to focus on the topic of ‘Young and Divorced’

SHAH ALAM - For women in their 20s and 30s, most of them are either single, in a relationship or are newly married.

But a rising number from that age group comprises of young divorcees.

The social stigma that comes with being labeled as a divorcee can be hard to navigate through.

In the next episode of Sinar Daily’s Relatable live talk show which airs tomorrow, June 21, 2022, the show will focus on the topic of ‘Young and Divorced’.

Moderated by Izza Izelan, she will discuss divorce rates in Malaysia, the challenges that young, divorced women face in today’s modern world, and more.

What could be the contributing factors of divorce among young couples? What are the psychological and emotional impacts towards a young, divorced woman and children?

When the norms and beliefs of what constitutes a marriage is violated, could this be another reason marriages crumble so easily?

The three panelists for the show are Women Aid Organisation’s Charlene Murray, health expert and motivator Datuk Dr Harlina Halizah Siraj as well as Chiq Ruslan who will be sharing her experience as a young, divorced woman.
