"Too many 'bad eggs' in an organisation and multiple cases awaiting trial in court," he said in a speech at the 23rd Convocation Ceremony of UMS, here on Sunday.

He said graduates needed to learn from Singapore's former Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew who had successfully made Singapore a country with the lowest number of corrupt cases.

"There are many negative impacts of bribes when it is left to spread.

"Among them are that it can cause the bankruptcy of a country and absurd debts such as what happened in Venezuela.
