Police urge individuals to come forward, lodge report over Rosmah’s viral ‘judgment paper’

KUALA LUMPUR - Police urge individuals involved to step forward and lodge a report regarding the viral document claimed to be judgment papers related to Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor’s bribery case involving the solar hybrid project for 369 rural schools in Sarawak worth RM1.25 billion.

City Police Chief Datuk Azmi Abu Kassim said at the time there were no police reports received.

"I would like to ask for any parties to step forward and make a police report in order for investigations to be done,” he said on Friday.

It was understood that the three-page document on the case decision had circulated online on Friday and it was supposed to be decided in High Court on Sept 1.

This was the second incident in two weeks after police confirmed a report was lodged on a viral document, allegedly the judgment paper of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s appeal case recently.

Previously, Rosmah was ordered to defend herself on Feb 18, 2021 against three charges of briberies.

Rosmah pleaded not guilty to a charge asking for RM187.5 million and two charges of receiving bribes totalling RM6.5 million from Jepak Holdings Sdn Bhd Managing Director at the time, Saidi Abang Samsuddin.
