Expect thunderstorms and heavy rain in several states all day tomorrow

SHAH ALAM - Several states will be hit with thunderstorms and heavy rain tomorrow, MetMalaysia reports.

The warning by the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) stated that thunderstorms or heavy rain will hit Penang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Johor.

Several areas in Sabah and Sarawak will also experience same weather condiitions namely Sandakan and Sri Aman.

It was earlier reported that the country was expected to experience strong winds from various directions from Aug 27 to 30, conducive to the formation of storm clouds, especially in the evening and night.
