KUALA LUMPUR - The self love programme Being Me: Love Me More carries the meaning of reflecting one's in their daily life, says Sinar Daily's giveaway winners.

Previously, Sinar Daily organised a giveaway on Instagram where participants stood a chance to win tickets to join the programme organised by Mercy Mission, in collaboration with Seven Skies International School.

One of the winners Nurul Azuah Aziz, said she was grateful to be given the opportunity to attend the event.

"There were so many things I gained from this event which is more on the reflections of ourselves and how do we go throught this in our daily life," she said.

As for Nurrul Iman Najat Samsol Bahrin, she confessed it was her first time to attend a big event like Being Me: Love Me More.

"Basically this is my first time joining this event which involved Muslimah in one hall, so I'm very excited to join and happy that I won a giveaway by Sinar Daily.

"So this event focused on self love and also in order to love ourselves, we need to love Allah first. So thats the gist if it," she shared.

While, Nurul Amanina Mohd Ismail said the most important output she managed to grab was to see the perspective of self love in Islam.

"Before this we've been fed with the western ideology of what self love. But now with what we've heard today was there's also a perspective from Islamic point of view.

"It's not just about having the time for you to do solah. But also have the time to talk with Allah is also the act of self love," she added.

Nurul Aain Mohd Ismail said, she loved how the sharing session as it was very raw and could felt it deep in her heart.

"For me the sharing from the ustadhas, Mizz Nina and all the doctors, I can feel it very inspiring and emotional to me," she said.

Being Me: Love Me More was a programme that featured religious speakers such as Ustadha Farhat Naik, Ustadha Umm Hud, Ustadha Nurul Asyiqin, Dr Atiyah Azmi and Mizz Nina.

The event that was held at Matrade Hall, MECC talked about seeking knowledge, coping with adversity in life, selfcare and self love, motherhood, da’wah and mental health.
