KUALA LUMPUR - The 2023 Budget will need to be tabled again of the dissolution of Parliament takes place before it is approved by the Dewan Rakyat.

"This question should be asked to the Prime Minister but referring to what happened (if Parliament dissolves before the budget is approved), the procedure is the same as in 1999.

"I have to explain this so that everyone is clear about the process but in any case the answer should be submitted to the Prime Minister," he said this during a press conference after tabling the budget today in Parliament.
