"We want to focus on the problems that women face. Not only by talking, but by taking action as well.

"You see, it was not easy for them to make a comeback after the Covid-19 pandemic. Hence, we also organised a forum where we discussed the needs of women candidates.

"We had gathered political leaders to discuss about the importance of women leadership in politics," said the Bersatu Srikandi (Women’s) chief, today.

She said this in response on whether Bersatu has come up with a list of women candidates for the 15th General Election (GE15).

Citing the World Economic Forum, she said the health and education of women in Malaysia were at a good pace, but from the political perspective it reflected otherwise.

Asked about Pas getting back with Perikatan Nasional (PN), Rina said they would be stronger if there were more people with them.

"This will form a stronger coalition because at this moment we need to fight with the strength we have among us.

"I also hope that all Malaysians will come out and vote,” she added.

Earlier, Rina officiated the Jalinan Mesra Deepavali Prihatin Rakyat programme at SJK(C) Dengkil.
