SHAH ALAM - The Pakatan Harapan (PH) and Muda alliance is moving forward in a positive direction.

This, Lembah Pantai MP Fahmi Fadzil said the crucial focus would be to deliver better services to the people and to compensate for each other’s shortcomings.

"Anyone who wants to see a better Malaysia is welcome to come and join the fight,” he said during Sinar Daily’s Politically Frank session.

When it comes to politics, not age but ability to perform was the top priority.

Politicians embroiled by corruption or caught with any irrelevant political practices should quit, Fahmi added.

"I think you (the politicians) should take a bow and no longer be a part of the political establishment,” he said.

He also said that corruption knows no age as even young politicians could engage in corrupt practices.

He stressed that after the 1MDB case involving former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak, Malaysia could no longer afford to suffer from another scandal of that level.

According to him, the 1MDB corruption case caused Malaysia to pay the price of billions in debt until 2036.

"So those who are complicit in that should leave,” he said.
