Abd Latiff's business acquaintance gained profit from LCS project too - Rafizi

PETALING JAYA - Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) deputy president Rafizi Ramli said Datuk Dr Abd Latiff's business acquaintance Jaya Sudhir Jayaram who attempted to obtain the the concession from the government to manage the MySejahtera application, had also gained profit from the littoral combat ships (LCS) project.

The Pandan Parliament candidate claimed that Jaya Sudhir was involved in various scandals including the one involving his business partner who was also the sister-in-law of former prime minister Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi who was Noor Aishah Mahmood.

"Jaya Shudir was close to Abd Latiff through a company called Mega P Asia Sdn Bhd which was mentioned in the Forensic Audit report on LCS.

"Abd Latiff was the founder and original shareholder of the company that obtained various naval defence contracts from Boustead Naval Shipyard Sdn Bhd (BNS) subsidiaries including to supply workforce to projects under BNS," he said during a press conference at the PKR headquarters, here, on Thursday.
