SHAH ALAM - Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) election campaign manager Hizwan Ahmad has described party designate president Zuraida Kamaruddin as ‘iron lady’ for guiding the young ones within the party.

He said Zuraida was the "grand teacher" who taught younger members of the party.

"Everything happens because of her. She has provided us with leadership, guidance. She is the grandmaster or the grand teacher for us young ones in the party,” he told Sinar Daily's Politically Frank.

Commenting further, Hizwan said Zuraida deserves to be called a leader and party members are proud to have her as the leader of the party.

Adding further, he said he believes that Zuraida has traits of becoming a prime minister with the added value of empowering women and the young ones.

"I believe that she (Zuraida) has the quality of a prime minister.

"It is just that she has one extra quality because she is the leader who really takes care of the young and women.

"Probably this is an extra point for her,” he added.

Asking his opinion on who should become the prime minister after the 15th General Election (GE15), he said it all comes down to any individual who commands the majority in Parliament.

He also added that PBM is a party that sticks to its cause and the six pillars of their struggle.

"Every political party has its own vision and mission," he said, adding that there are six pillars of the party's struggles.

The six core pillars are multiracial engagement, women’s empowerment, youth empowerment, economic development, education and the advancement of science and technology as elements to make Malaysia a developed country.

"I believe one way or another, people will realise why we are here, how we got to this point and it is not going to be easy,” he added.

Therefore, he said he will not stop talking and promoting the party.
