Tense moment when Khairuddin wrongly signs confidential form

KUALA LUMPUR – After mistakenly signing the wrong section of the form, Gerakan Tanah Air (GTA) candidate Datuk Seri Khairuddin Abu Hassan faces a tense moment when he is forced to spend more time for the nomination process compared to the other candidates.

It is understood that the mistake was made on the confidential form which required him to fill in a new one and submit to the Election Commission (EC) returning officer on duty.

During the incident, Khairuddin's supporter, Radzmil Azhar Ridwan rushed out to obtain a new copy of the form from his vehicle.

However, one of the officers allowed Khairuddin along with his proposer to enter (the nomination centre) and wait at the designated hall until the new form arrived.
