GE15: Anwar captures Tambun with a comfortable majority.

IPOH - Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim won the Tambun seat comfortably against his three rivals with a majority of 4,607 votes.

As of 11.10pm, the Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate obtained 24,652 votes on 134 channels.

The count saw Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu garner 20,045 votes.

Meanwhile, BN candidate Datuk Aminuddin Md Hanafiah received 12,172 votes and Pejuang candidate, Abdul Rahim Tahir, received 494 votes.

Based on the Electoral Commission (EC) data there are a total of 160,558 registered voters in the Tambun Parliament.
