GE15: Media members patiently waiting for updates from BN at WTC

KUALA LUMPUR – As some winners and losers have been announced for several states for the mother of all elections – the 15th General Election (GE15), members of the media are still waiting for updates from the Barisan Nasional.

The competition between Pakatan Harapan, Perikatan Nasional and Barisan Nasional were heated which made it unpredictable who was going to lead the country.

At press time, members of the media were still waiting for updates at the World Trade Centre Kuala Lumpur (WTCKL) and Menara Dato Onn.

Big guns such as BN chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, caretaker Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob and Umno Secretary-General Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan had earlier arrived in stages at 9pm.

This was followed by BN communications director Datuk Seri Dr Shamsul Anuar Nasarah who arrived at Menara Dato Onn at 11 pm.

As the polling result rolled out gradually, there was still no official statement from BN.
