PH has 112 seats since last night, says Anwar

SHAH ALAM - Pakatan Harapan chief Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says

he is confident that he will be given the chance to lead this country.

"We have enough 112 seats since yesterday, which party is it? Let them issue their statement tonight or tomorrow," he said.

"So let's wait for tomorrow", he told reporters, referring to documents on the number of support to Istana Negara before 2pm tomorrow.

Yesterday, Malaysians voted which saw PH securing 82 seats but it needs another 30 seats to form a simple majority government.

Barisan Nasional won 30 seats, Sarawak's GPS won 22 while Sabah's GRS won 6 seats. Muda won 1, Parti Bangsa Malaysia (PBM) won 1, KDM (1) and two independent seats.

On working with the Borneo bloc, Anwar said: "We have a relationship but its not easy to save the country. It is our collective responsibility."
