Nationwide roadblocks from today, top cop says

SHAH ALAM - The police says roadblocks will be put up at every district nationwide round the clock.

Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Acryl Sani Abdullah Sani said this is to ensure public peace and safety.

"Starting November 22, 2022 until a time to be determined, the police will launch roadblocks at strategic locations in each district, nationwide round the clock.

"The efforts is to prevent crime by increasing presence to guarantee public security and safety,” he said in a statement, today.

He asked for public cooperation at roadblocks, especially off-peak hours," he said.

He assured the public that their daily activities will not be disrupted.
