Wan Ahmad Fayhsal critised Asyraf Wajdi’s silence after his previous accusation that PN has used tricks to obtain sworn statements from Barisan Nasional parliamentarians to support Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

SHAH ALAM - In a tit-for-tat fued between youth chiefs, Parti Pribumi Bersatu's Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal has slammed his Umno counterpart over the latter's silence over his president's insubordination against Umno.

The reprimand from Wan Ahmad Fayhsal towards Umno youth chief Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki came to be after the latter accused Perikatan Nasional (PN) of using underhanded tactics to secure sworn statements from Barisan Nasional MPs to support PN chairman Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.

"To this day, he is silent, instead of reprimanding Zahid Hamidi who clearly cheated the BN Supreme Council and BN parliamentarians who clearly rejected Anwar Ibrahim and DAP in forming the government.

"In the Malaysian Constitution, it is the right of every member of the parliament (MP) who has won his parliamentary seat to support any MP to be nominated as Prime Minister,” he said in a Facebook page, today.

Wan Ahmad Fayhsal claimed that the one who cheated his own party and the Yang di-Pertuan Agong was BN Chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

He questioned Asyraf Wajdi’s incompetence in voicing out against Zahid’s bad deeds.

Earlier, a viral photograph on social media showed a letter to the Agong, purportedly signed by Zahid, alleging that BN had given their support to PH chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim to be next as Prime Minister.
