Anwar heads to Istana Negara for swearing-in ceremony

KAJANG - Pakatan Harapan (PH) Chairman Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is believed to be heading to Istana Negara to be sworn in as the 10th Prime Minister.

The vehicle carrying the Tambun MP was seen exiting his residence here at 4pm accompanied by police escort.

Anwar, 75, who was wearing a black Baju Melayu waved to reporters and supporters in front of his house.

Today, as early as 8am, media representatives were at his residence to report on the latest developments after Nov 19 polls which saw no political parties gaining a simple majority of 112 seats.
