Sabah to cooperate with Anwar-led govt to revive economy, MA63

KOTA KINABALU - Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor assures that the state government will fully cooperate with Putrajaya led by newly appointed 10th Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.

Hajiji, the Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) chairman said the close cooperation, including in matters on Malaysia Agreement 1963 (MA63) between the Sabah government and the newly formed Federation under the leadership of Anwar.

"Anwar's vast experience will be able to bring in much-needed economic revival and the development of the entire country in the future," he said in a statement here on Thursday.

He also hoped that the PH manifesto including empowering the Sabah and Sarawak regions would be implemented well.

Anwar was earlier sworn in as the 10th prime minister at 5pm today.
