Give two off days to Tioman voters, says PN candidate

ROMPIN - Perikatan Nasional candidate for Topman state seat has urged Pahang state to declare two days off from work as the voting falls on working day.

Nor Idayu Hashim said the move will encourage more voters to cast votes.

Pahang PN chairman Datuk Seri Saifuddin Abdullah who was also at the programme said he is confident that over Nor Idayu's ability win the state seat as the parliamentary seat was won by the coalition.

Tioman state elections will be held on Dec 7 after the coalition's candidate MD Yunus Ramli, 61 died at 3.30am on Nov 19 polling day, believed to be due to cardiac arrest.
