PUTRAJAYA - The unity government Cabinet ministers are showing a different image with their no-tie attires during meeting this morning.

A photo was shared by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof in Twitter.

Chief Secretary to the government Tan Sri Mohd Zuki Ali was also seen not wearing his usual tie.

The photo had all male ministers wearing dark suits matched with light coloured shirts.

Sinar Harian understands that it had been Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's image for a long time and he had only worn a tie to face the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and during Parliamentary sittings.

"Actually, the tie is not what matters, the most important thing for Anwar is a truly functional Cabinet with focus on the rakyat," it was reported in Sinar Harian.

When asked whether there were orders for it, the response was no such orders were given, in fact all Cabinet members wanted to display the same image as the prime minister.

Anwar was clad in a pink baju Melayu on his first day at work.

The following day he had chaired the National Livelihood Action Council Special Meeting and was seen cladding a purple batik shirt while other civil servants were fully dressed in lounge suits.

When he arrived at the Finance Ministry on Tuesday, he remained in a simple appearance without wearing a tie despite wearing an office suit.
