Wan Junaidi remarried, reception to be held tonight

KUCHING: Former Minister in the Prime Minister's Department (Law and Parliament), Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar is reported to be holding a wedding reception ceremony following his recent solemnisation.

It was reported the wedding reception with the woman of his choice, Datin Seri Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, would be held at a renowned hotel in the city centre tonight.

Also expected to be present at the ceremony were Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg and several national leaders.

Earlier, a photo of the bride and groom's wedding went viral after what was said to be their marriage ceremony, believed to have taken place recently.

This is Wan Junaidi's second marriage after the death of his wife Datin Seri Norjanah Feona Sim Abdullah, on May 27.

Earlier, Wan Junaidi, 77, decided not to contest in the Santubong Parliament in the 15th General Election (GE15) to make way for Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri.

In his previous marriage, Wan Junaidi was blessed with three daughters. - AWANI
