Sabah will reshuffle Cabinet soon, says Hajiji

The gates of Istana Seri Kinabalu are quiet without any movement indicating that there will be a change of government in Sabah

KOTA KINABALU - Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor announced Sabah Cabinet will see a reshuffle soon.

In a statement on Friday, he also said the details of the reshuffle will be disclosed in the near future

Prior to this, rumuors are rife that Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin would be dropped from the Cabinet.

Moreover, it was also said the decision was following actions of some members of the State Assembly from the Barisan Nasional (BN) tried to conspire with Parti Warisan (Warisan) to overthrow Hajiji as the chief minister.

The speculation was reinforced through a press conference that should have been held by Warisan President Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal at a hotel in Kota Kinabalu on Thursday evening.

However, the press conference was postponed at the last minute after about three hours after media personnels gathered at the hotel.

Meanwhile, checks by Sinar Harian's at Istana Seri Kinabalu on Friday found that there was no indication of change of governement as there wasn't any vehicle movements of individuals from the concerned parties going in and out of the place.
