KOTA KINABALU - Three Warisan State Assemblymen who left the party will have to vacate their seats, said party vice president Datuk Jaujan Sambakong.

Jaujan said legal action will be taken against them.

He further said the party did not receive any resignation letter.

"We have not receive the letter (from the three assemblymen). Those who acted that way towards the party need to vacate their respective seats.

"We will bring them to court, and it is up to the court to decide when they want to summon them, just as with Datuk Hassan A Gani Pg Amir (Sebatik), Datuk Dr Yusof Yacob (Sindumin), Rina Jainal (Kukusan) and others.

"The same action will be taken as before because this is the party's rule," he told Sinar, today.

Jaujan added similar action will be taken against others who leave the party.

When asked if all the assemblymen had voiced their wishes to leave the party to the leadership, Jaujan said no.

"No conversation with the leadership took place but from the information that we received, they did expressed desire to leave the party.

"We understand that they have no courage to speak during the meeting, some who were 'bought' even swore that they would never leave Warisan," he said.

He further claimed that the assemblymen who left the party were 'bought' by certain parties.

Jaujan, however, said party members should not worry too much about Warisan's current situation.

"Party members don't have to worry, Warisan is still strong and instead of adventurers, we want fighters in Warisan," he said.

On Monday, it was reported that three Warisan state assemblymen made a joint-statement via TikTok video saying that they will quit the party to be independent assemblymen and support the Sabah government under Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor leadership.
