Marca reported JDT coach Esteban Solari was interested in signing Falcao on a two-season contract, before the 37-year old, nicknamed 'El Tigre', would be made an ambassador for the club and for Johor.

"While finalising negotiations with the team Falcao is seen to be interested in a new professional endeavour despite also being targetted by Peter Lim to strengthen Valencia," the report stated.
