Actress Diana Danielle files for divorce

SHAH ALAM - Actress Diana Danielle has filed for divorce from her husband, fellow actor Farid Kamil earlier this month.

According to local news reports, the divorce was apparently filed on the grounds of misunderstanding and shiqaq (prolonged dispute).

The divorce application was mentioned in the Subang Bestari Syariah Lower Court this morning.

However, Farid, or his full name Farid Kamil Zahari did not recite the proclamation of divorce.

Farid told a news portal that he still loves his family and is hopeful to save the marriage.

"I still love Diana and of course, our two children, Muhammad and Aurora," he said when contacted.

"I want to save this family through reconciliation in court. May God give his guidance," he added.

It is understood that the couple no longer live together.

Syarie Judge Shukran Yusof has ordered the couple to go through the Conciliation Committee (JKP) process.

The application will be scheduled for mention on March 28.
