'Thai Hot Guy' show: Umno Youth to lodge police report today

SHAH ALAM - Umno Youth will lodge a police report today to protest against the 'Thai Hot Guy' show in a bar, which is seen as immoral.

The party's new Youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh said Umno will take action if the show is not cancelled.

"We don't need people who don't know how to respect other's sensitivities. I ask all non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and political parties to unite against this offensive show.

"This is our country, so we need to follow and respect our way and culture," he said in a Facebook post yesterday.

Pas youth chief Ahmad Fadhli Shaari had earlier also objected to the event, which is expected to be held on March 30.

Dr Muhamad said the programme should not be held during Ramadan.
