Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience in Singapore

Taking place at Resort World Sentosa, the Singapore edition exhibition has been open to the public since March 1, 2023.

What makes it different from other Van Gogh’s exhibitions is this Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience introduced their initial debut of two unique segments which are the Japanese art style of woodblock stamps and prints for the first time in the world.

It all began when Van Gogh viewed the impact of the oriental art form during the western art scene after the ancient art of Japanese woodblock gained popularity in France in the 1880s.

From there, the artist became very invested in the Japonisme movement, which greatly influenced his artwork and helped him produce works like "Geisha”.

There were more than 300 artists’ sketches, drawings, and paintings where one could indulge in his world and life works with the floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall large-scale digital projections at the exhibition.
