SHAH ALAM - An influencer known as Phoebe Shafinaz tweeted her scary experience of having a man try to break into her condo unit on the 12th floor through her balcony.

In an incident on March 30, Phoebe wrote that she was lounging in her living room, scrolling through her phone with her husband at 12.43am, when her husband suddenly screamed.

Both of them had spotted a man, who was about 6 feet in height on her balcony, trying to open the sliding door and another man who was climbing down from the balcony one floor above.

She says the incident has left her traumatised and has made her think of worst case scenarios that could have happen had the sliding door been unlocked.

"Several things keep lingering on my mind; what if we didn't lock the door? What would happen to us if the men managed to enter?" she wrote on Twitter.

"I don't want to think negatively. I want to believe that the men were just running away from something and just passing through," she said

Phoebe stated that she had always been paranoid of men standing in her balcony ever since she moved in and it finally happened.

She described her husband's love for her as a silver lining from the incident, where he was willing to sacriifice his own safety to make sure she was safe.

She said since the incident both she and her husband have had trouble sleeping and even booked a hotel room so that they were able to sleep in peace.

She reminded everyone to be vigilant and to always lock their doors and windows.
