KUALA KANGSAR - Bersatu deputy president Datuk Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu said any effort to form a government must comply with the provisions of the law stated in the Federal Constitution.

He further said the opposition's current priority is to alleviate the people's burden, rather than to overthrow the government.

"It is not about that (changing government). The priority of all politicians whether government supporters or the opposition, is the people's interest.

"Even if we change the prime minister or the government for 80 times in one term, if the people's interest are not given priority then there is no meaning to any of it.

"The people's interest is much more important than the leaders' desire to stay in power or pursue power," he told reporters.
