PUTRAJAYA - Malaysia unreservedly condemns the latest incursion into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyard by the Israelis on May 18.

Muslims’ Holy site and the flag march in the Old City of Jerusalem further exacerbate the already perilous situation on the ground.

"Such acts are a clear provocation and flagrant violation of the sanctities of the revered Holy Site.

"The international community must stop turning a blind eye towards the continuous violations of human rights and apartheid policies by the Israeli regime in the Occupied Palestinian Territory," he said.

Malaysia continues to stand firm by its principled position that the Palestinians deserve their own independent and sovereign state, based on the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its Capital. - BERNAMA
