Poster of Hadi urging Muslims to ‘kill enemies’ is fake, says aide

SHAH ALAM - A poster of Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang claiming that he has called on Muslims to "kill enemies of Islam" is fake, says his press secretary.

Hadi’s press secretary, Malik Razak, said the poster that is circulating online is not genuine.

"The poster is fake and not genuine at all.

"I have no idea who did this, but for now we are still in discussion on taking further action," he told Sinar Daily briefly via phone call.

The fake poster shows a picture of Hadi next to three messages titled "Tiga Amanat Buat Pejuang Islam" (Three messages for Islam warriors) that made the rounds on social media today.

In one of the messages, Hadi also allegedly said, "If killing can bring down the enemy of Islam, then kill."

He also purportedly called on Muslims to slander and cut ties with others if it could defeat the enemies of Islam.
