He said the Exco line up and himself would use personal vehicles to attend the Exco meetings as well as perform their current tasks until the state election.

"There are many programmes within the dissolution period until the election such as campaign programmes, we want to avoid claims of using government vehicles for political campaigns,” he said when met after handing over the vehicles at Wisma Darul Aman on Wednesday.

He said by handing over the official vehicles, it would be better and safer as many individuals tend to take matters out of context.

"I’m confident this measure will not get any praise because this is something that has been done before.

"The correct thing is rarely said in this age of accusations, but it doesn’t matter and we will continue to invite our friends from other parties not to use government assets to campaign throughout the elections,” he said.

Sanusi said he was thoroughly looking at the guidelines made by the State Legal Counsel Datuk Nik Azhan Hamim Nik Mahmood regarding the caretaker government that was still managing the state administration after the state assembly dissolution.

"The Exco meeting is continued for us to decide on several matters and the government routine continue its implementation. The only difference is new policies involving finances could not be made,” he said.
