SHAH ALAM - Controversial comedian Jocelyn Chia plans to perform an Apology Tour at Live House Kuala Lumpur in TREC on August 28.

However, yesterday the Central Agency for Application for Filming and Performance by Foreign Artistes (Puspal) denied receiving any application from Chia.

But, Chia, through an Instagram post this morning said that she will be doing an apology tour in Malaysia with her compatriot Chrissie Mayr from the United States.

"Due to many request for an apology from me by Malaysians, I will be doing an Apology Tour in Malaysia with @/chrissiemayrpod," she said.

Puspal confirmed through a statement yesterday that they did not receive and approve the Apology Tour application.

Chia faced criticism from Malaysians for making jokes about Malaysia and the missing MH370 flight during one of her shows in the United States.

Mayr further escalated the situation by supporting Chia and insulting Malaysians on her social media platforms.

Puspal through a statement confirmed yesterday that they did not receive and approve the Apology Tour application.
