SHAH ALAM - The act of a Twitter user who posted a prayer wishing for the death of Pas president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang is highly immoral and lacks any Islamic virtue, according to Pas deputy president Datuk Seri Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man.

Tuan Ibrahim stressed that despite political differences, wishing illness or death upon someone should never be used as a means to express hatred.

"That individual needs to reflect upon Islamic ethics and understand that illness is a universal experience for all human beings.

"Such matters should never be treated lightly. Even non-Muslims have condemned this act as it reflects poor morality," he told Sinar.

Tuan Ibrahim further added that if a person cannot control their emotions and actions to the point of wishing harm upon others, they are not fit to be a political leader.

Tuan Ibrahim also shared that Hadi has been discharged from the hospital and has returned home.
