5.4-magnitude quake hits water off Taiwan: CENC

BEIJING - A 5.4-magnitude earthquake hit waters off Taiwan's Pingtung at 3:47am on Sunday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Centre (CENC), reported Xinhua.

The epicentre was monitored at 22.03 degrees north latitude and 121.49 degrees east longitude. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km, the centre said. -Bernama/Xinhua
