Songstress Nadeera Zaini wins Big Stage

SHAH ALAM - Songstress Nadeera Zaini was crowned the winner of the fifth season of the Big Stage singing competition.

She successfully delivered her own rendition of Loren Allred's original song Never Enough, and amazed the judges and viewers with her vocal prowress.

Nadeera achieved the highest overall score of 68.39 per cent in the competition which was held at the MBSA Auditorium, yesterday.

"This has been my dream all this time, thank you to my parents, who have supported me all this time. Thank you to the jury. Thank you to the fans, you are my heart.

"May Allah reward those who have voted for me," she said.

The petite singer took home cash worth RM100,000, a winning trophy and will have a single especially created for her by international composer, Hyun Sik.

Second place was won by Indonesian singer Waode with a score of 64.25 per cent, Woade brought home cash amounting to RM30,000 along with a trophy.

Meanwhile, the third place was won by Putera Muhammad with a score of 64.19 per cent, Putera got to take home cash amounting to RM25,000 and a trophy.

South Korean duo Hoondo was crowned the fourth place winner with a score of 61.60 per cent and took home RM15,000 worth of cash and a trophy.

In fifth place was Aufahanie with a score of 54.61 per cent and was awarded RM 8,000 cash, she also cliched the award for overall dominance in the show.

Placing sixth was Puteri Khaareza with a score of 49.58 per cent, bringing home RM5,000 and a trophy.

The final concert of the reality programme saw Aina Abdul and Ajai as permanent judges and the famous maestro, Datuk Ramli MS as a guest judge.

The Netizen President seat was filled by famous Malaysian host, Jihan Muse, while the show was hosted by multi talented artistes Elly Mazlein and Rina Nose.
