Baby Shima was accused of "selling religion" after her name was announced as an artist for the Community Friendly City Day programme in Kuantan, Pahang, which took place on the day of Israk and Mikraj celebration.

Abd Rahman claimed that the singer and actress "sold religion" because she wore a hijab on certain occasions.
