State polls: Isa Samad's wife, son named BN candidates in Juasseh, Bagan Pinang

KUALA LUMPUR - Former Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Tan Sri Mohd Isa Abdul Samad's wife and son will be contesting as the state's Barisan Nasional (BN) candidates in the upcoming state polls.

Puan Sri Bibi Sharliza Mohd Khalid, the Negeri Sembilan Umno Women chief, would contest for the Juasseh state seat while her son, Port Dickson Umno deputy chief Mohd Najib would contest for the Bagan Pinang state seat.

BN previously announced that it would contest 108 state assembly seats out of 245 constituencies in six state polls in Selangor, Penang, Negeri Sembilan, Kedah, Kelantan and Terengganu next month.

Of the figure, 63 per cent of the individuals announced were new faces, 18 per cent were incumbents, and 20 per cent were those who have contested before.
